This weekend while I was spending time with a 7 year old, we saw a dragonfly sitting on the flowers in the nursery.  As with any child, she was so excited.  Teaching her to quiet her heart beat and become still inside, was a challenge.  As Alysa reached out to touch the wings, she became amazed, that the dragonfly allowed our touch. 

Could you quiet your heart, so you could touch a dragonfly? Most of us rush through life so busy that we don't even notice the dragonflies, much less get to touch them.  How sweet the weekend become for us as we experienced such a delicate creature.  Even as he flew away, we were able to understand the privilege of being close to perfection.
